Salvation - I Want to Be Saved

Romans 12:2 says "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Read it slowly 5x)

One of the wonderful benefits of being a child of God is that His transforming power is always at work within our hearts. Jesus Christ shed His blood and died so that, by grace, we may be saved and we who believe receive His Spirit Who renews our minds. By His power the believer can think holy thoughts which lead to righteous actions. If you’re reading this and you are weary from the way things have always been, tired of doing things on your own, and feel as if you’re carrying the weight of the world, let God teach you how to change the course of your life and bless you with His power and favor along the way. If you’re ready to surrender to God’s transforming power and you’re ready for your life to change for the better, open your heart right now and allow God into your life.

Romans 10:9-10 (Bible) says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved “. God promises that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. He (Jesus) who knew no sin became sin and was crucified; yet He was resurrected, defeating the power of death so that we may have life and life more abundantly. That includes YOU! The only true way to be saved from the power of sin and the bondage of death is through Jesus Christ.

Dear God, I acknowledge that I am a born sinner, I repent of my sins and I seek your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ, Your Son, died for my sins and I believe that You raised Him from the dead. Right now, I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and according to Your Promise I am now saved. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will now indwell me and transform my life into the image of Christ. In Jesus’ Name I pray.
